Winning Trainer: John Moloney
First win over a mile: "I just said to Damian before the race, he's had a few runs at the mile, he's been placed a few times but we haven't quite got it, but we got it today."
Backing up: "We had it in mind. I was a little bit worried, he had a tough run last week. I just needed to see him do well enough and come through the race okay and he did, and that gave us the impetus to get here today."
Winning Jockey: Damian Lane
Pre-race instructions: "He (John) just said he'd give his all and he likes to race on speed. He didn't have much luck last week and thought he'd be better for that run, and all of that was true."
Leading: "I was actually keen to let No Effort go because it had a bit more early speed than me but he was just too keen, he strode through and took it up and once he got three quarters in front he pricked the ears and switched off lovely."
Running the mile: "I thought he had to be really tough because he was giving So Si Bon a lot of ratings points at the weights so I thought he did a good job."
