Kuroyanagi created a big impression at her jump out debut before following up with a nice Murray Bridge trial win on Monday. She looks well above average, the bookies went up $2.90 before she was smashed into the red and she should take beating here. Little princess is a Mornington trained galloper on debut and has won a couple of jump outs there. She looks the second pick. Colmar was placed behind Wolfgang at Morphettville on debut before beating Darlinc here. He draws a nice gate and should run well.

RACE 2 - 1:02PM 2024 Hi-Beam Car Wash Gawler Bung Fritz Cup (2112 METRES)

Cullen Skink has won his past three and appears to be getting better with every start. He won at Strathalbyn, went to Morphettville and was too good for Myrtle Creek before a soft win over Plaisir here last time. He looks a horse who will thrive over this trip and is the one to beat. Test The Law gets some weight relief and is racing well beating Russian Dancer at Morphettville before he led when 2nd behind Don't Dismiss here. Pointless Praise is a stayer on the up. He has been in the money at six of his nine starts, winning at Balaklava before a solid 3rd behind Call Me Vexatious last time. Dixie Whistler continues to race well and getting out to this sort of distance looks ideal. Wheels had good market support last time and must be respected again.

SELECTIONS: 3 CULLEN SKINK, 1 Test The Law, 7 Pointless Praise, 2 Dixie Whistler PLAY: Keen on CULLEN SKINK.

RACE 3 - 1:34PM Contract Engineering Handicap (1706 METRES)

Apache Star  won consecutive races, beating Thrill Kill here two runs back before he was a $1.90 fav when 5th behind Aitch D'Amico at Murray Bridge. He looks the danger from the good barrier. Rebel Consortium is a progressive mare who was a good Morphettville winner beating Tullaghan and should run well again. Rabtat has been racing well and was good again behind Bamyan Buddha last time at Murray Bridge. Speakeasy is on debut for the Bain/Taylor stable and has the inside barrier.

Into The Light was well fancied first-up when 2nd behind Eroica before again being well found in betting when $6.50 into $3.90 when beaten 2.9 lengths behind Meg's Magic at Gawler. Never Surrender has been placed at three of six and finished hard behind Nosie By Nature at Morphettville last time and draws a perfect barrier. She draws a sticky barrier but is a mare with some upside and no weight. Pool Pony is going super chasing three wins in succession and was too good for Crown Harmonium at Morphettville last time. Dawnburst was a Murray Bridge winner two runs back before running 3rd behind Second To Nun here. I'm Kenny led and was 4th in the Second To Nun race last time and can run a cheeky race on speed with no weight after the claim. RACE 7 - 4:02PM 4 Ways Fresh Produce Handicap (1200 METRES)

Zebella has been favourite, looked the winner and beaten in both runs since resuming in similar races. She's been in the money at both runs here at Gawler and does get the blinkers for the first time. She gets one more chance. Toast The Deel was good getting through the testing conditions to beat Willybeafactor here last time. She's a mare with upside and looks the danger. SHE'S GREYSFUL was runner-up here behind Exalted Dame, that solid form for this and she should be in the finish despite the wide barrier. Shooting For Stars has been around the mark and went back to the trials after being beaten 5.4 lengths behind Winning Revolution at Murray Bridge last time. She draws a good gate, and her best would be in the finish. Yeelanna was scratched form midweek for this, she's a mare who is more than capable and she's weight and drawn to be in the thick of things. Hope At Hand gets in well with the claim from a middle barrier and she is capable in a race like this. Cuban Waters comes off a maiden Morphettville win last month and gets the inside barrier and stable is in-form.

SELECTIONS: 2 ZEBELLA, 3 Toast The Deel, 4 She's Greysful, 6 Shooting For Stars PLAY: ZEBELLA gets one more chance with the blinkers on.

Another Ponzi has been in the money at five of eight runs and both first-up runs, he was a Balaklava winner in May and is the leading stable, he just has to overcome a slightly sticky barrier. Stablemate Noble Magnate was good here when 4th behind Exalted Dame two runs back and that's good form for this, he draws the inside. His form before last start said back me, and he should go well despite the bad barrier. Billie Bronx was placed at her only start here and has shown ability, she was well backed behind Dawnburst last time and should run well down in the weights, stablemate Tahnee Treasure was fav when 2nd behind Lotto Fight at Strathalbyn last time, her best is good enough. Karaka Kiwi was a Murray Bridge winner two runs back and then solid behind Alainge at Morphettville last time, that's good form for this. Chelsea Cube was a 2 length Murray Bridge winner last time out and maps to get a good run from a middle gate with Jake Toeroek riding.
