BEST BETS CHOSEN MISS (Race 2) SECOND TO NUN (Race 6) EACH-WAY CRY CRY BABY (Race 3)

RACE 1 - 1:30PM Daish Irrigation & Fodder Maiden Plate (1350 METRES)

Cararada is a 16-start maiden with nine placings, the latest at Murray Bridge two runs back when 2nd behind Karaka Kiwi. She led behind Divine Fire at Morphettville last time and won't get a better chance to break through. Detoron is a former NSW galloper who has trialled well since her local debut when well beaten behind Chelsea Cube at Murray Bridge. Iconic Missile got a long way back and made good ground when 3rd behind Miss Vignette here last time. MOONLIGHT HALO has had the two trials ahead of his debut for Ros Day and draws a good barrier. Iconic Jewel was placed here back in November. The Postie was placed here behind Global Turn last time while Prodigal Lad could be an improver.

SELECTIONS: 6 CARARADA, 7 Detoron, 2 Iconic Missile, 11 Moonlight Halo PLAY: Something on DETORON the place.

RACE 2 - 2:05PM Sportsbet Bet With Mates Class One Plate (2050 METRES)

Chosen Miss has won just the one from 19 but has placed on seven occasions the latest behind Dual Fuel at Oakbank. That looks good form for this and should take some beating in this grade. Tiamat was 3rd beaten 2.7 lengths in that race as a $81 chance and maps to get an OK run from the middle gate. Fizique was beaten 9.1 lengths in 6th in the same race, her previous 2nd at Penola was OK and he can improve. Super Valentine was $3.20-$2.80 at his local debut here when 2nd behind Mystery Deel. He draws a good gate and looks the obvious danger. Mr George was placed at Naracoorte back in October.

RACE 3 - 2:40PM Nostradamus Standing at Springfield Farm Class One Handicap (1200 METRES)

Cry Cry Baby caught the eye first-up from a spell when she pulled very good late ground off Skinder at Oakbank. She draws a sticky barrier but is a mare with upside and should give this a shake. Dubai Nights comes off placings behind Eroica and Skinder, he draws out wide but does look suited in a race like this and will be winning shortly. No Entitlement has a handy record and was runner-up here behind Whenthedeelingsdun two runs back and then chased home Eroica last time. Lucille Rose has been in the money all three runs here and has trialled well for her return. Pulambi is lightly raced and was a Gawler winner three starts back and comes off an OK effort here beaten 4.5 lengths behind Marvelous Night. She draws well and should be in the mix. Adopted Son comes off an Oakbank win, Miss Vignette was a last-start winner here.

RACE 4 - 3:20PM Drinks at the Commercial after the last Rating 0 - 56 Handicap (1600 METRES)

Gogolf Guru was a winner here three starts back and OK last time when she had market support beaten 4.2 lengths behind Hobo Bob here last time. Red Sequoia was well backed to win at Murray Bridge two runs back and has won three races here. Wicked Addiction is a two time winner here and was OK beaten 2.4 lengths behind Hobo Bob last time. Fiamette is capable in a race like this and did make ground from a mile back at Oakbank last time. RUN ON was well backed when 5th beaten 2.1 lengths behind Choncape at Port Lincoln last time.

SELECTIONS: 8 GOGOLF GURU, 5 Red Sequoia, 2 Wicked Addiction, 11 Fiamette PLAY: Playing wide in the quaddie.

RACE 5 - 4:00PM Elders Goolwa for all your Real Estate needs Rating 0 - 58 Handicap (1200 METRES)

Garrire was runner-up behind Angaston on the Parks in August and then beaten 3.7 lengths behind Connemara Queen there in September. He draws a nice barrier and should give this a shake. Roulette Queen was beaten 5.8 lengths behind In The Darkness last time out. She was a winner here in May and draws a good barrier. Michael Hickmott also has Qualis who was well beaten in the same race and was a Darwin winner in July. Club Punter had some market support first-up behind In The Darkness at Murray Bridge. Leon's Shout has a very good record first-up with two wins from four starts and maps well from a middle gate. Canidae was well beaten when resuming, and again in a recent trial, but has been in the money at five of seven starts here. Lastar improved at KI last time and draws a nice barrier.

SELECTIONS: 8 GARRIRE, 7 Roulette Queen, 4 Club Punter, 9 Leon's Shout PLAY: Something on GARRIRE in a tricky race and wide in quaddie again.

RACE 6 - 4:40PM North East Auto Wholesale Strathalbyn Cup (2050 METRES)

Second To Nun is flying chasing four wins in succession all with Rochelle Milnes in the saddle. She maps well from a middle gate and looks weighted to win again. Montign is a horse on the up and he is unbeaten in two runs since resuming, the latest beating Aitch D'Amico at Murray Bridge. Test The Law controlled the speed to win at Gawler last week, he should be handy from the barrier and there for a long way. Clever Man looks ready to peak after placing behind Hot Suspect in the Summer Cup at Mt Gambier last week, he finished 2nd in this race behind Bundle Of Fun last year. Morty is close to a win after running 3rd at his past couple in at Murray Bridge and Gawler. Don't Dismiss is racing well but faces a task from the wide barrier.

RACE 7 - 5:20PM Fleurieu Community Bendigo Bank Benchmark 64 Handicap (1350 METRES) 

Marvelous Night has won three of his four starts here beating The Ice Cutter two runs back before a good effort when 3rd behind Billie Bronx at Gawler. He gets some weight relief and should give a bold sight from the good barrier. Dawnburst has been in the money at all three runs here and was a Murray Bridge winner three starts back beating San Lucido and looks perfectly placed here from a good barrier. Pivotal Force is a six-time winner here from 10 starts, the latest two starts back beating Kayseri before another solid effort when 3rd behind In The Darkness last time. The wide draw is against but he looks well placed. Suggestive Miss has been favourite at her past couple beaten 3.1 lengths behind Lord Morton at Oakbank last time. She draws well and can give this a shake. Rising Legend was placed here behind Not A Single Bid two runs back before beating Zero Inn at Murray Bridge. He draws out and should be in the mix. Angaston draws a nice barrier and has trialled well for his return. He's fresh record is solid.
