Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on August 6.
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Moruya, Scone & Wodonga.
Moruya: Race 3 @ 2:10pm
Living Doll and Resort provide the speed. LIVING DOLL (7) resumed in good order and then ran her best race leading and missing a neck at this venue. Gets the weight drop and the 1200m shouldn’t bother. The rails draw adds to her appeal. MALACHI CRUNCH (9) is a stablemate who just missed here second-up against the above. Also finds harder, but he will also take plenty of beating at the weights. TREASURE BOSS (6) has won two of the last three and the latest was a heavily-backed heavy track effort at Albury. He draws handy and gets the chance to repeat. LEAMI ASTRAY (2) will push forward and is better suited today. Won here this grade two back. SELECTIONS: # 7 Living Doll appeals at the each way quote.

Scone: Race 4 @ 3:05pm
Sir Leo from a wide gate has the speed to cross and lead. POULTON LE SANDS (1) was very strong in the final stages when 3rd at this track over 1300m last start. Was ready to win at Tamworth last week but was withdrawn after a minor pre-race mishap. Is a winner over this course and distance and should be ready to peak third up from a spell. SPEED CAMERA (9) didn't enjoy the best of luck when a closing 3rd over this distance at Gosford last time out. Expect her to be getting home hard again on the bigger track. DELIYA (7) made a move into the straight but was beaten at the furlong over this distance at Wyong recently. That run came off a seven-day back-up which may have been an excuse. Capable of figuring. The very consistent AIRLIE AVENUE (5) has minor claims. SELECTIONS: #1 Poulton Le Sands to win.
Wodonga: Race 6 @ 4:00pm
A number are capable of leading with pace across the barriers. DEWRINKLER (7) brought strong form to Moe but was deep and disappointed as a firm favourite. Expect the shorter trip to suit and he will take beating. UPSWING (4) peaks now and is ready to win. Hasn’t been having much luck and should go close with a good ride. WIMBORNE (1) is back in grade and will be around the mark along with WEAVE (3) who had plenty to give off the first-up run.SELECTIONS: De #7 Wrinkler looks a bet each way.
