Bairnsdale: Race 7 @ 4:50pm 

Even early speed. Gold Fields and Ripplebrook could make the early running from Nangawooka drawn the outside. HEPTAGON (3) is drawn to get a good run near the speed and looks hard to hold out. His last two runs finishing close up behind Rox The Castle and Admiral's Joker reads well for this. Looks ready for 1600m fourth up. GOLD FIELDS (2) beat the in form Dr Drill last start after going down narrowly to Romancer the start prior. He's won four of thirteen at the distance and rarely runs a bad race. MAIN STAGE (6) gets the Blinkers back on and his best form would see him go close here. Respect. RIPPLEBROOK (10) has won two of his four starts at the track and is a must for multiples. SNITZEPEG (4) is struggling to find his old form but could sneak into a place at odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Heptagon to win the Cup.

Toowoomba: Race 8 @ 6:20pm

Pieridae can run them along. PIERIDAE (2) led and missed a lip here resuming and has more to give. He will use the good gate and gets the blinkers again and a handy 3kg claimer goes on. He's the one to beat. SCHERZARE (7) won as expected resuming at Bowraville and has cope for improvement. The draw advantages and he will be in the finish. CHAMBERLAIN (4) has won three of his last five and it was comfortable last time at Nanango. This is harder but he will be around the mark. STORM ANCHOR (10) won by a space at Gympie but needs to find a bit more. SELECTION: #2 Pieridae has the figures to be winning. 

Port Lincoln: Race 5 @ 3:55pm

Ruby's Reward and Nitro Magic can make the speed. IRISH MINT (5) was a bit plain the latest but placed the previous two in city grade and they read well for this. He will push forward and rates to be winning with Toeroek replacing the apprentice. DEBEERSONUS (1) resumes off a string of placings and will be ready to go. The veteran can cross and stalk the speed and shouldn't be far away. RUBY'S REWARD (6) is drawn to run them along and is an improver who should be more forward this time around. TOLSTOY (2) goes well fresh and rates well at best. Needs to be kept safe. SELECTION: #5 Irish Mint is in good hands and looks very well placed. 

Cootamundra: Race 5 @ 3:35pm

Trapper Tom draws the rail and can run them along. AUSTREET (1) won the Maiden and then came to this trip and missed a lip at Orange. That reads well and he can win with a repeat. IMANACHEEVA (4) improved just missing in the same race. Gets Cahill today and gets another chance. SAVVY ACQUISITION (5) is a Queenslander back after 22 days for the new yard. Has to come back in trip but has the ability. TRAPPER TOM (6) won the Maiden from the speed and then things didn't work out at Canberra. Gets the rail and will take passing. SELECTION: #1 Austreet brings strong relative figures and can bounce back. 

Ballina: Race 6 @ 4:00pm

Big Buddie can lead from Waltzing Willie. WALTZING WILLIE (2) found his Sydney form winning this grade third-up. He has more to give and can win again using the low gate. TAIKO BOOM (6) is much better than the form line reads. The Doomben effort two back stacks right up and he's on the quick return with a big weight drop. POWERLINE (1) is capable and best and will be around the mark with the claim. ALMAS (4) is also a first four hope finding his best. SELECTION: #2 Waltzing Willy has the best recent form and should be winning again.
