Genuine early speed engaged. Like To Think So and Elite Drake will look to lead while Ozi Choice, Inn Keeper, Blue Tycoon and Travimyfriend won't be far away. Competitive renewal of the China Bowl. BLUE TYCOON (9) has the form to go close having trounced the promising Whenever Wherever in good time three starts ago, then was close up behind Bravo Tango before just missing at Geelong last start. Drawn ideally and represents value. MARCEL FROM MADRID (10) has loads of ability but is yest to put it all together. Take on trust. INN KEEPER (1) hasn't won for a while but has the form having been Listed placed two starts ago. JESTER HALO (7) could be a knock out first up with form at the track and distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Blue Tycoon each way but go wide in exotics.

Warren Race 5 @ 3:50pm
Sugar Dance, General Scarlet and Kenny Succeed are all capable of leading. GENERAL SCARLET (7) is quick and made it 2/3 this campaign the latest. Keeps improving and looks one of the better bets on the program with the big weight drop. SUGAR DANCE (1) gets a big weight hike but the form this grade is strong and he should be right in the finish drawn to advantage. WESTLINK (5) is better than the recent form suggests. Keep him safe. KENNY SUCCEED (3) is speedy and was tracking like a winner before the last start flop. Peaks and this trip suits better. SELECTION #7 General Scarlet is the one to beat.
Townsville Race 4 @ 4:44pm
Dalon and Imaginalthepeople are the speed. DALON (1) capped excellent form winning the Open 3 before the spell. He resumes off that career peak and is a promising galloper with an impressive strike rate. Draws to advantage and should have these covered. JETS CRACKER (3) placed close-up twice before delivering in the CL5 at Mackay. He will use the rail and make the finish on a 5-day return. DISTRICT (2) is also a hope going on the easy win two back. BLAZING STEEL (5) will be around the mark forgiving the latest. SELECTION: Dalon (1) has an edge.
Penola Race 2 @ 2:20pm
Ken's Thunder gets the opportunity to lead. KEN'S THUNDER (3) brings strong provincial form to the resumption. He's placed fresh and has trialled well in town. Will push forward and looks here to win. OUT PROVEN (8) missed a nose three back and hasn't had the best of things since. He can improve in this line-up and be right in the finish. BODIDLEY (1) ran out off puff late resuming at Mt Gambier and is a speedy type drawn to advantage. He's a hope. LADIES GLASS (7) will be fitter and the claim is handy. SELECTION: Looks a good kicking-off point for #3 Ken's Thunder.
York Race 4 @ 5:50pm
Licabull can lead. MINIKA (1) found Ascot too tough the latest but the string of city and provincial placings prior read extra well for this. Draws low and is the one to beat drawn to advantage. TRADE PRIZE (2) was okay resuming at Ascot and is a second-up winner. He will use the low gate and can win finding his best. ALL THAT SIZZLE (6) can stalk from the rail and the first-up form is okay. She can come back improved and won't be far away. ROCKER CHICK (4) resumes and is a market watch. SELECTION: Keen on # Minika.
