Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on November 27.
Six TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Wednesday at Warwick Farm, Sandown, Gold Coast, Northam, Strathalbyn & Launceston.
Gold Coast: Race 2 @ 2:20pm
Se Rendre will be quick into stride. BADOOSH (1) is knocking on the door. Placed in four from six overall. Thought process of the stable when making him win his two trials in readiness is terrific. Would've given him some much needed confidence. Drawn ideally with Fradd to ride. Plenty to like. MADAM OF THE HOUSE (5) was beaten a narrow margin here on debut. Market said she'd win but she just didn't know how to put them away. Given time by the stable. Home track advantage is a big plus. Respect. SOMEBODY'S GIRL (7) led them up here last start but just peaked on the run. Should improve. Blinkers a welcome gear change. SASSENAY (6) for the exotics.SELECTIONS: Badoosh will take beating.

Sandown: Race 7 @ 4:30pm
Kardashing and Gelignite Jack may be the ones to run them along. GELIGNITE JACK (7) can win this at best and will be better for the tough first up run. Before the break placed in a 70 as favourite and was even better at Listed level the one before. He has won second-up and the claim advantages. IRISH BUTTERFLY (4) just missed the hat-trick resuming in stronger grade. He’s a promising galloper with more to offer and is sure to be fancied and go well. KAMIEN (5) brings three close-up efforts in stronger grade, Races as if the extra trip will be ideal. IMPERIAL DAWN (11) was out-graded at Flemington, but the one before was good and Williams is a key booking. SELECTIONS: #7 Gelignite Jack looks a solid each way gamble at the $8.50.
Strathalbyn: Race 7 @ 4:45pm
Get In The Bowl can cross over and lead them up. COSMIC AWARD (1) just missed in town resuming and then delivered the CL1 here as expected. Had come off Listed grade and expect the 1350m to prove no worry. The one to beat. ADOZENROSES (4) won in Maiden grade here resuming and has more to give. He may need further now, but is hard to risk. RAPID RAISER (2) is capable and needed it resuming off a long break. He’s trialled since and gets some gear changes. Uses the low gate and improvement won’t surprise at a long quote. JACK'S SISTER (5) has won and placed both runs back and is well in the mix well drawn. SELECTIONS: #1 Cosmic Award is the one to beat.
Warwick Farm Race 6 @ 4:55pm
Good early speed with Snips taking it up. SNIPS (1) is a very honest gelding who returned from an 18-week spell with a commanding all-the-way win over 1300m at Kembla last start. Carries a similar weight today after the claim and will strip fitter. Sure to prove hard to run down. TWENTYFOUR CARAT (11) also returned from a spell last time out with a comfortable win over this distance at the Kensington track. Lightly raced colt with plenty of scope for improvement. Is pretty short in early markets though. SHADOW FLIGHT (5) went back from a wide gate but savaged the line to finish 4th when resuming over this trip last start. Distance specialist with each-way claims second up. Last start Rosehill winner HIT THE TARGET (2) cannot be underestimated. SELECTIONS: #1 Snips great value at each-way odds.
Launceston: Race 8 @ 9:30pm
Ocean Essence from a wide gate will roll forward and set up a decent tempo. OCEAN ESSENCE (2) is an honest gelding in career-best form. Looked home here a fortnight ago over this distance but was nabbed right on the line to be denied a second straight win. Sure to be hard to run down as he looks to get a fairly soft lead. REANN'S DIAMOND (4) almost caused a boilover when she charged home and just missed in a bob of the head over 1400m here last time. Veteran mare who will be hard to stop over the extra furlong. SILENT BID (3) scored over 1400m here two runs back then was less effective on the Devonport synthetic last time. Has been about the mark all prep and is a good each-way prospect back on turf. C'EST BON (9) comes back sharply in trip but is fit and ready to run well third up. SELECTIONS: Keen on #2 Ocean Essence with the race to be run to suit.
