Sydney Specials: Rosehill - 30th November 2019

3 minute read

We make our return to Rosehill on Saturday with the Group 3 Festival Stakes the key highlight of the nine race card.

The Chris Waller trained Brazilica returned in good order at Canterbury and appears well placed to break through in the fourth event.

Forced to chase a ferocious speed first up, she loomed up as the winner at the 200m, before just peaking on her run late.

Only lightly raced, she returned a new career peak and appears set for a profitable summer campaign.

An impressive winner on debut back in October last year, she is yet to win since, but has placed on two occasions and has good talent.

She looks to receive all the favours off the inside draw and it's a big tick with James McDonald going aboard.

The unbeaten Suave sets up the market and while he too is promising the wide draw could prove a hindrance and more than happy to side Brazilica's way.

At her current quote (5-1), she looks a great each-way prospect.

In the Festival Stakes, the Bernie Kelly trained Bobbing appears very well placed off the back of two eye-catching performances to begin this campaign.

A sectional star behind Into The Abyss last start, he gets in very well at the weights and should be right at his peak third up.

Admittedly this is a lot tougher, however he rates highly and with even luck, he should prove very hard to hold out.
