With the later races having bigger fields, there are value plays to be made.

A last start winner can be followed as she keeps improving and that is Puissance Dusoleil in Race 7.

This filly sat off the pace over this very course and distance and ran over the top two weeks ago.

She will be at peak fitness now third up and is bred to love racing over even further so will be strong.

We do need them to be able to run on but this race appears to have good tempo so she will finish it off as we hoped for.

There are a few chances in the good race of the day and we'll go for one at great each way odds.

Hussybay took on some good races last time in including a Wylie and Murray Bridge Cup.

He was able to run well over sprint trips as well as up to the mile. However his win came at 1400m on this track.

Usually getting back in his races, that should happen again and if a few take off early, he can track them up and run home.

After the claim he seems well placed and even if he doesn't win, the place value is there still.
