On a better than average off-season card at Rosehill and with the track just in the heavy range at the time of writing, with the odd shower about, we are looking for the runners who enjoy plenty of give in the ground. It's about as nondescript as it gets at Caulfield this weekend but that doesn't mean there won't be good betting - particularly if we can get on the right side of it. We have to hold fire right through to the last for our best of the day with the 2000m handicap looking the pick of the fare on offer. Here we find Super Titus , who did the right thing by us two weeks back and Mahamedeis who made it a sweat and we are jumping ship with the latter looking nailed on to run well again with the 2000m under his belt now. In what is probably the best standard race on the day, we'll go for a mare who has been in the second half of the field her last couple. Equal Love was thought of well enough to be backed late in the Proud Miss Stakes during the carnival. Read More
Belmont: Race 8 @ 6:15pm
It is Belmont Sprint day at Group 3 level on the weekend. We are going to play in that main race as Angelic Ruler has to run well again. Her campaign had gone 1200, 1400 then back to 1200 in the Roma Cup and she was left back near last much of the way. Read More
