Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on August 11.
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Gosford, Ballarat & Rockhampton.
Ballarat Synthetic: Race 7 @ 4:00pm
They should run along okay but there's no designated leader. MY DIVAS (3) is racing well and improved again missing a nose here this trip 22 days ago as favourite. She has to manage a wide gate but gets the 4kg claim today and with a touch of luck can go one better. GINNY ANN (10) has placed the last two on the grass and there was nothing in it 10-days ago at Donald heavily-bet. Comes here first time with Rawiller sticking and expect her to go close. CHEVYCHASER (2) resumes off a city Open 3 for a star yard and has been gelded. The gate is tricky, but expect him to be much improved and keep a very close eye on the market. PARIS GEM (12) keeps threatening and missed a whisker here the latest. She's a chance again. SELECTIONS: A mostly tough program. #3 My Divas looks a solid chance and will support at an each way quote.

Rockhampton: Race 4 @ 2:35pm
Let's Cheer Again and Volum can make the speed. LET'S CHEER AGAIN (1) runs along and has been okay in better provincial contests since the Kilcoy Open 3 win. He has since won a Sunshine Coast barrier trial and rates to win this with Butler controlling the race from the low gate. CHEZBLACK (7) has placed both runs back and they stack up. She gets substantial weight relief and is a danger. MIRACULOUS (9) is also down in the weights and made it two wins from the last three here 17 days ago. She keeps getting better and has to be seriously considered drawn to box-seat. VOLUM (6) is an ex Victorian who won the CL3 first up for the new yard. He's down in the weights and up to this at best. Keep very safe. SELECTIONS: A good contest but #1 Let’s Cheer Again can find his best and that would be good enough.
Gosford: Race 4 @ 2:50pm
A true middle-distance test to unfold as Dambulla, Hendo's Magic and Little Arnie battle for the top spot. HENDO'S MAGIC (3) has been thereabouts all prep. Led into the straight last start and gave a kick but found one better at the end of 1800m on a heavy deck at Hawkesbury, with a gap to the 3rd horse. Has won over this trip and loves to get his toe into the track. Tremendous each-way value in early markets. DAMBULLA (1) was headed on the corner but didn't lie down and finished just 1.6 lengths from the winner last time out over 1900m at this circuit. Very fit now after a couple of runs back and will appreciate the step up in distance. PRINCE CAMELOT (6) worked home in good style to wind up 2nd at his most recent run over 2000m at Canberra. Drops a massive 6 kgs today with the claim. Big chance with winkers on for the first time. FINAL SHOWDOWN (4) ground out a tough 1800m maiden win at Hawkesbury last start when lining up for just the fourth time. Open to further improvement. SELECTIONS: Not a day for specials but #3 Hendo's Magic looks a sound each-way bet.
