Australia's Nicola McDermott took out the high jump at Friday's Brussels Diamond League meeting.

Australia's Nicola McDermott has won the high jump at Friday's Brussels Diamond League meeting.

The 23-year-old from Gosford, NSW, took out victory with a 1.91m clearance - ahead of Swedish duo Erika Kinsey and Sofie Skoog.

The victory is McDermott's first at Diamond League level after she finished third in the last two meetings of this year's competition in Lausanne and Stockholm.
