Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on September 22
Three TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Wyong, Kyneton & Beaudesert.
Wyong: Race 6 @ 4:10pm
Looks a solid tempo as Atherton and Crosscheck match motors. ATHERTON (2) took control shortly after straightening then went right on to record a dominant win first up at this track and distance in maiden company. Has been well-supported through his career so obviously has plenty to offer, and is putting it together now. Will take running down again. The beautifully-related SAMMY (7) closed strongly to win over 1200m at this track when resuming last time out. Bold showing expected again as she steps up to a more suitable distance. CAPTAIN SOLO (1) didn't threaten when seventh first-up over 1200m at Newcastle. Fitter and is among the leading chances. EXOTIC RUBY (3) ran on well to grab second last time at Hawkesbury over 1300m at the second run of the campaign. Ready to peak. SELECTIONS: Like #2 Atherton each-way at lucrative odds.

Beaudesert: Race 3 @ 2:40pm
Woolsey likely to take up the running from Ubetwedo and Burning Success. EXPLORATION (2) was tracking well before the latest and best to forgive. He wins this at best and will get every chance getting a soft run from the rail. WOOLSEY (7) was back to his best just beaten at Ipswich and has won 2/2 this course. He rates well and also confident she will run out the longer sprint. OPEN ROAD (3) resumes for the new yard and would be very competitive if presented forward. Will race over further but should be hitting the line hard. BURNING SUCCESS (1) is in a top barn and can improve quickly third-up. Keep him well onside. SELECTIONS: A tough betting program. At the odds #2 Exploration looks a bet.
Kyneton: Race 6 @ 3:30pm
From wide gates Sirius Deal and Mark The Horse can set up a solid tempo. SIRIUS DEAL (2) will push forward and has placed the last two in better grade. Gets the handy 2kg claim and this is winnable for the Cumani-trained galloper. INDIANA STAR (9) just found Cold Beers too good at Hamilton coming from the back. The longer trip should suit and John Allen riding is a plus. LEVEN LASS (12) is better than the recent form suggests and it wouldn't surprise to see her race better in this line-up. EL CHAPARRO (5) is capable of making the finish responding to a number of gear changes. SELECTIONS: #2 Sirius Deal won’t get a better chance to post his third win.
