Sure Will Do To Remain Unbeaten

3 minute read

The Stephen Gray trained Sure Will Do has been most impressive in two starts to date and looks well placed to bring up the hat-trick at Kranji on Saturday.

Due to contest the seventh event, Sure Will Do began his career in October when leading throughout to score easily over 1200m.

Stepping up to Novice company last start, he again proved far too good, scoring easily by close to three lengths.

He gave the clock a starting and a beating and looks very well placed stepping up to Class 4 company on Saturday.

When assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings, he sits clear and certainly looks to have more room to move.

The wide draw may appear a hindrance on paper, however he has good early speed and should have no problem rolling forward and crossing the field.

Simon Kok certainly flushed it aboard last start and confident he can do it again.

Admittedly he lines up against a few more experienced types, however he looks to have a decent edge.

A bold front-runner, if he is able to pinch a few cheap sectionals in front, he is sure to take plenty of catching.

The Michael Clements trained Pattaya went down as favourite last start, but his performance still held plenty of merit and he looms as a major threat.

A winner of two of his 10 starts, he has also placed on a further six occasions and is a noted performer at this course and distance.

The booking of Duric is a further push and he's drawn to get a lovely run just off the speed.

Being by Sacred Falls no doubt he would love a bit of cut in the ground and if able to hold his form, he is sure to be right in the finish again.

The Desmond Koh trained Legend Of The Sun has to be kept safe back in this grade.

He is more than capable on best form and has won a trial in the lead up.

No favours with the draw, but gets some weight relief after the claim and has to be kept safe.

Of the rest the Shane Baertschiger trained Rise Of Empire appears the next in line.

Good luck and happy punting.
