SWAN HILL: RACE 8 @ 3:50 PM

Competitive edition of the Cup. ADELAIDE ACE (4) should arguably be unbeaten this campaign having gone down narrowly in both runs back from a spell. He looks ready to peak having won two from three third up attempts in the past and he'll be suited stalking a genuine early speed. STRATEGIC PHIL (5) sat behind a hot speed last start when winning nicely in fast time. This appears to be his optimal trip and he'll be hard to beat again dropping in weight. ZACHAZ (11) could possibly settle closer in the run from an inside gate with the Blinkers going on. If he gets the breaks he'll be hard to beat. ONE MORE TRY (1) rarely runs a bad race and is worth including in the multiples fresh. SURREAL IMAGE (7) set a cracking pace last start but held on bravely. Don't take lightly. SELECTIONS: Adelaide Ace can get back to winning ways in the Cup.

EDENHOPE: RACE 5 @ 1:45 PM

EMIL (2) is suited back to this grade and is a winner over the course and distance in the past. He got too far back from a wide draw two starts ago when heavily supported finishing an excellent third. From a better gate he can settle closer and take holding out at the finish. GUNNER GET IT DUNN (4) only went down narrowly last start in a stronger race behind the useful Next Stop Berrima and Cheptegei. If he can handle the rise in distance he's the logical one to beat from an inside draw on speed. NAMA DUDE (5) returned to form back on top of the ground just missing over this trip last start. He's suited again here. PERISCOPE (6) couldn't make inroads on the Heavy last start but was thereabouts in a similar race to this two starts ago. Include among the chances. RIPPA EAGLE (11) hasn't won for a long while but will make his own luck on speed and can add value to the exotics. SELECTIONS: Emil gets conditions to suit.

HAWKESBURY: RACE 1 @ 12:10 PM

KITTYHAWK FLYER (6) is the most experienced galloper in the field and has yet to miss the top five in six career starts. Strips fitter second-up from the spell and has placed three from four over this journey. Looks the hardest to beat in this line-up. GIGASTAR (1) has been thereabouts in both starts and is a massive watch having his first run for the new stable. Must be included. FALREINE (5) has had no less than four trials in the lead-up to this and is from a good barn. Watch betting closely. DIZZY DEVINE (4) improved sharply to finish third last time out and can make her presence felt. PENDING (2) has shown enough ability at the trials to suggest he can be competitive in a race like this. SELECTIONS: Kittyhawk Flyer to win.

KALGOORLIE: RACE 2 @ 1:22 PM

TENA KOUTOU (2) has placed 3/4 and missed a nose resuming in stronger at Belmont. He has even better figures at the mile and fitter is the one to beat. GARAGE DAYS (1) is a stablemate who peaks four placings with the latest at Northam. Draws low and gets another chance drawn to advantage. AURAE (6) could improve at the mile and looks capable of placing. OLLY LACE (8) is going well but has to lift to be winning. SELECTIONS: Backing Tena Koutou.

MURRAY BRIDGE: RACE 6 @ 3:35 PM

SKY HERO (2) is a former Victorian who has jumped out OK for his SA debut and was scratched from Saturday for this and does have the blinkers on for the first time. SANDSATION (1) is a former Victorian wo was a Kilmore winner four runs back and debuts for Travis Doudle from a tricky wide gate. CAPRICORN RIDGE (7) made good ground from a long way back behind Shopster at Gawler and has been placed at two of three starts here. ALPHAEUS (9) was placed at Morphettville on the Parks track three starts back which is handy form for a race like this. SHOWPODS (12) was well backed to run favourite here two starts back behind Good Girl Bella back in January and is fitter for one run back and has a good second-up record. SELECTIONS: Sky Hero to score first-up in SA.

PORT HEDLAND: RACE 1 @ 2:10 PM

TOP POCKET (3) showed better form missing a lip here 14 days ago. Did a good job and can go one better. LOCKAWAY THE CASH (9) wasn't far away in the same race. Was even better at Albany prior and is a chance. KALAKAUA (2) has plenty to offer off the first-up run for the new yard. Runs along and the 3kg claim brings him into it. KID YOU NOT (6) is an improver who won't be far away with a soft run from the rail. SELECTIONS: With Top Pocket.

SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 1 @ 1:05 PM

FACTORIZE (7) was a winner over this track and distance last start. Claim of Ellen Hennessy gets her in well at the weights. Appears the one to beat. NOBODY'S PUPPET (1) was well beaten last start at Goulburn but was a good winner two back at Parkes. Has a big weight but is the class runner of the field. Drawn well and will be in the finish. HARD LADY (2) was well beaten at Nowra first up from a spell, but had run well prior to the break. Nicholas Hyde's apprentice claim gets her in with a good weight. Better than last run and can improve here. MERC (3) has been around the mark most of his career, including a fourth at Kembla Grange last time out. Has to carry 60kgs but gets Billy Owen in the saddle. Winning chance. INTERCONTINENTAL (9) returns from a break today and finished off last campaign with a fourth at Tumut. Won't be far away. SELECTIONS: Factorize to be too good for these.

SUNSHINE COAST: RACE 6 @ 3:55 PM

JOY TOO ALL (8) was heavily-backed again missing the hat-trick by a nose at Doomben. Draws low today and keeps the leading hoop. She's promising and can go right on with it at the mile for a sharp yard. FAST TRAIN (2) races handy and deserved the CL3 win at Doomben 62 days ago. Has trialled since and can make the finish of the market says he's on song. FIGHTING COMMANDO (3) won the CL3 here by a space as favourite and keeps improving. Has a low barrier and handy 2kg claim and is a player. TAVIS TOWN (6) rates well off the 1.3L defeat behind Bofors but has to manage the extra 200m. SELECTIONS: Keen on Joy To All.
