Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 19.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Rosehill, Ipswich, Belmont Park, Murray Bridge and Roebourne.
ROSEHILL: RACE 6 @ 2:25 PM
TYCOONIST (12) has been very good at all three runs back this time in and should be right at his peak fourth up. McDonald goes aboard and he finally draws a gate to settle closer. Flies over this trip and with even luck he should prove hard to beat. Stablemate PAPAL WARRIOR (14) is only 1/18 but is more than capable on his form this time in and has to be included again from the inside draw. TAKSU (8) steps out on debut for the Joe Pride stable (formerly with Maher & Eustace). Rates well on his effort at Caulfield last start and with Bowman going on he has to be respected. ZELL (5) won well at Warwick Farm last start and while this is harder, he can take that next step.
SELECTIONS: Very keen on Tycoonist fourth up.

IPSWICH: RACE 8 @ 3:53 PM
AMISH BOY (2) settled well back but really stoked up late to just miss over 1400m in the G3 Fred Best Classic at Eagle Farm last time. Should settle a bit closer today out of a far better gate. Newmarket placegetter who has been in work a long while but finds his easiest assignment in ages. The very consistent AXE (10) would up strongly to grab third over 1350m in the G3 BRC Sprint at Doomben last start, 1.4 lengths from the winner. Wide draw a small concern but he'll probably work across and try to lead. Sure to feature at the business end. GROUNDSWELL (1) was back in form last time when a close second in the LR Spear Chief Handicap at Eagle Farm over 1500m after leading. Widely-travelled sprinter who needs luck from the alley but can win on his best figures. BOOMSARA (4) led and held on well for second last time out over 1300m at Eagle Farm. Generally peaks third-up so he can go one better without surprising. MISHANI HUSTLER (5) placed at Listed level two back. Chance at huge odds.
SELECTIONS: Keen to be with the class runner, #2 Amish Boy.
BELMONT PARK: RACE 3 @ 1:12 PM
TIMELY OUTBURST (5) won well at her first two runs this prep then bumped into some in-form and promising types when runner-up her past two. Suited here and the one to beat. FIRST LAW (2) ran up to his price when scoring over 1000m fourth-up and drops 2kg here. Capable of going on with it. VANE TEMPEST (1) has been impressive in two Pinjarra wins since a spell and deserves a shot in town again. Definite chance. REIGN OF FIRE (3) and ALL DAY SESSION (4) can improve on first-up runs.
SELECTIONS: Timely Outburst to win. Trifecta 5-1,2,3,4/1,2,3,4.
MURRAY BRIDGE: RACE 4 @ 1:11 PM
EN FRANCAIS (9) was impressive on her debut and then missed by a nose three weeks ago. A little further now and right down on the limit, she looks the right one. SPARKUP (4) also got beaten a close margin recently. He will have fans given some of his past form lines. MUSTARI (2) always runs a genuine race. He should be getting a decent run all the way. THRILL KILL (1) has done little wrong. He just has to carry the weight here. CRISTOFINA (8) will love softer going. She can be a value player.
SELECTIONS: Giving En Francais another go.
ROEBOURNE: RACE 6 @ 4:55 PM
ARTICULATOR (4) turned in an eye catching run here last time finding the line strongly to finish second over 1400m. Rates highly and expected to go close again. I HOPE YOU DANCE (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win with only one victory from 27 starts but she has been in the placings 13 times. Yet to break through at this trip but has racked up five minor placings and should prove tough to beat. ICONIC SKILL (3) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Port Hedland, finishing fourth and only 1.4 lengths from the winner. Rates well on latest effort; among the main hopes. MISS MANDY (7) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fighting on to finish second beaten a nose over 1200m at this track. Sure to run boldly again.
SELECTIONS: Very keen on Articulator.
