Lucky Jinsha To Continue Winning Run

3 minute read

The Tim Fitzsimmons trained Lucky Jinsha faces a stiffer test on Saturday but is flying for his new stable and looks hard to beat.

Formerly trained by John O'Hara, Lucky Jinsha did little in his first seven starts before joining Fitzsimons's care in June.

Kicking off over 1400m he wasn't beaten all that far before displaying sharp improvement at his second start for Fitzsimmons.

Dropping back to 1200m and getting onto the polytrack, Lucky Jinsha won easily when scoring by close to four lengths.

Stepping onto the turf at his next start he proved very game in defeat when forced to travel wide throughout.

Beaten narrowly he stepped back onto the polytrack last start when walking in over 1200m.

Ridden by Hakim he won't get an easier winning ride when home at the top of the straight.

Barely moving on the four-year-old Lucky Ginsha won eased down by seven lengths.

Visually he couldn't have been more impressive and the clock backed up the strength of his performance.

Lining up in the fifth event he makes the jump to Class 4 company which is a query but at the weights he looks well placed.

Unlike most horses coming up from Class 5 company he looks to have more to offer and certainly hasn't levelled out.

The wide draw sees him land in a prominent position and he should prove hard to beat.

Last start winner Special Ops shapes as the main danger despite rising 3kg at the weights.

In three starts on the polytrack he has never missed the money and has also placed in three of four attempts over this trip.

Leading rider Danny Beasley sticks aboard and if able to hold his form he is sure to be right around the mark.

The James Peters trained Headhunter wasn't beaten far last start and should have improvement to come given he was 50 days between runs.

From the inside draw he should lob into a lovely spot and with Lerner back aboard, he has to be included in the main chances.

Of the rest the Mark Walker trained Mystery Power appears the next in line.

Good luck and happy punting.
