Unbeaten sprinter So Clever can take another step forward when he lines up at Doomben on Saturday.

So Clever has shown bags of potential in leading throughout to win both of this starts, cruising home on debut at Gold Coast then stepping up to Saturday's distance for a 2.3L win at Eagle Farm.

John Moore's gelding goes up in grade but has the speed to take full advantage of the low draw.

Ratings suggest he measures right up to this field and with plenty of upside he can continue on his winning way.

Wonderful Day is worth an each way play as he reaches peak fitness third up.
