The Stephen Gray trained Holy Eleanor appears well placed to break through at Kranji on Sunday when due to contest the fourth event.
Formerly based in the UK under the care of Archie Watson, Holy Eleanor placed in five of her ten starts before joining Gray's team.
Kicking off her career in Singapore in May, Holy Eleanor only went down narrowly when second behind Starharmony.
First up off a 465 day break she fought hard before again only going down narrowly on the polytrack at her second start.
Kept fresh since (57 days) she returns to the turf track and finds a very suitable assignment with Duric sticking aboard.
From the rails draw she should be able to find the front comfortably and when assessing Timeform weight adjusted ratings she appears very well placed.
Some concern that she is yet to break through from 12 starts but she won't find a more suitable assignment.
The Michael Clements trained Mellad showed good improvement second up and should be nearing his peak third up.
Only lightly raced he displayed fair ability when formerly trained in the UK and should be better suited stepping up in trip.
The wide draw is an obvious hindrance but he can show good speed and with Beuzelin sticking aboard he shapes as one of the major players.
The John O'Hara trained Don't Tell Tilly has mixed her form this time in but is more than capable when right and she appears well placed with the aid of the claim.
Given a soft trial in the lead up she can also settle closer from the draw and should be one of the strongest late.
The Alvin Tan trained Bizar Wins the next in line.
