Best From The West: Pinjarra – 8th February 2020

It is the Magic Millions day at Pinjarra this Saturday.

Thinking the best is in the 3yo Trophy with Cryptic Wonder who runs first in what is a very decent race.

He has only raced twice but they were both on soft going and suspect he would be better on top of the ground.

After two winning trials he will be ready to go as he was on debut when winning off that same formula.

Pike can have him in a lovely spot all the way and dash home. We might do better with the bookies too.

The good sprint race earlier in the day has a few chances but one at odds that seems each way value is Spillinova.

This horse ran some very solid last campaign without winning them. They were around this sort of grade.

Some lovely horses won those races and he was well in the betting in all of them.

From this gate he can be smothered away on the fence and if others overdo things, watch a late split to develop.

It looks a race where there might be some looking over the shoulders on a few of them.
