This is a tough card back at Morphettville this weekend.
In what is probably the best standard race on the day, we'll go for a mare who has been in the second half of the field her last couple.
Equal Love was thought of well enough to be backed late in the Proud Miss Stakes during the carnival.
Prior to that she had won over this course and distance back in March and then was not far away in the Hills Railway Stakes behind Bella Vella - we know how that form ended up.
Back into this company, from a soft gate and back to the better distance, the four year old is beautifully placed after the claim.
She has to be a rock solid chance.
Going back to easily the longest race on the day where Budget King is an each way play racing against the older horses.
He has shown that he clearly wanted ground – a fact exemplified by him kicking off at a mile this campaign.
Taken to Bordertown to get some confidence, he led and just scrambled home so suggesting he'll roll forward in a race which hasn't got much expected speed.
Happy to be backing him and also something on the other 3yo in the race Exalted Ambition who similarly comes off a win in the country.
