It's about as nondescript as it gets at Caulfield this weekend but that doesn't mean there won't be good betting - particularly if we can get on the right side of it.

We have to hold fire right through to the last for our best of the day with the 2000m handicap looking the pick of the fare on offer.  

Here we find Super Titus , who did the right thing by us two weeks back and Mahamedeis who made it a sweat and we are jumping ship with the latter looking nailed on to run well again with the 2000m under his belt now. 

Mahamedeis is still largely untapped at 2000m but showed last time that he stays the trip well and he has raced himself right up to this top now. He's good enough to win and looks the right price to play. 

For an each way play we roll back to race four for the three-year-olds and it looks fairly wide open.  

There's not a great deal to get excited about at the top of the betting and a few outsiders appeal as good gambles.  

One of those is Regardsmaree who continues to outrun her odds and again looks slightly undersold in the early betting and our each way play Fiorente's Girl who sits at around 40/1 a couple of days out. 

She's only really shown glimpses to this point but has a nice profile that says she could be more talented than her form card says she is and her closing splits late on last time hinted at her being ready to give a race like this a shake.
