Belmont hosts the Hyperion Stakes on Saturday in the next of the Winter WFA series.
It is a bit of replay of the Belmont Sprint won by Perfect Jewel with 10 of the 15 going around again.
That was a big upset race with the mare taking it out at 30-1 so the form holding up could be up in the air.
Now that we are out to the mile, reckon Gatting can get back to his group winning form.
Obviously the Makybe Diva win was one for the books but he ran well over the Summer without a win.
He's now third up at a good trip and he's going to get conditions to suit with some rain around.
Expecting him to work forward in this and get going on the bend to make others chase if they are suspect milers or not fit enough. He can be the value play.
The best is for another notch on the William Pike wall with Levitate ready to get back into the winner's stall.
He's come through some midweek efforts and missed by a pimple last time.
Can't see the track conditions harming his chances and he'll be fit third up to use the gate to the fullest.
He has some opposition but happy Pike has stuck with him.
BEST FROM THE WEST
