Boxing Day is always a feature racing day around the nation and Morphettville has nine races for you to get over the Christmas feast.

We say strike early on the day with the Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr trained Sunfall as he looks to win another metro race.

This 3yo won at Flemington at the start of the season against some decent horses then resumed in a strong race at Ballarat.

Last time out he came from last to close off nicely into fifth but the added furlong this time has to be in his favour.

They've even claimed on top of that to make a bird of it. It is not a strong BM68 and winning has not been the domain of many rivals recently.

Can't see him being shorter and suspect we may see black figures closer to the jump.

Later in the day in a NMW 1200m sprint, Sparkup appears each way value despite there only being ten runners.

The son of Magnus took on a Nitschke Stakes back in the carnival and was OK without being great and later ran into some fair horses including the now flying Outlaws Revenge.

The barrier is not a big issue given he gets back but also from the chute start there is only one turn.

If they are running on, he is more than capable of getting into the placings but in an even field, might do better than that.
