It is a very quiet meeting in Perth after all the extra racing that has gone on as well as the carnival coming to an end.
Race 6 is not an easy race I grant you but Pat's Got Sass finds a race with a decent weight after the claim and likely few regular black type horses to oppose.
She has raced in far tougher and needs this sort of trip to show her best so third up will be fitter.
The claim sees her not that far over the limit and should be finding a lovely spot from the barrier.
We're getting fairly decent odds even with a few chances in play.
Having found How's The Serenity last time here, we see no reason to jump off now given the form being shown.
This mare rarely runs a bad one and just toyed with rivals three weeks ago.
Given a little time to get over that effort, she steps up to the 1200m but this won't be run at a hectic tempo and she handles all situations well.
Even if she doesn't find the front, she will likely be outside the speed and controlling how the race is run.
Holly Watson knows her so well and that claim just keeps adding to the race set up. Even money would be a fair price at the end going up in grade.
