Out of Aflica kicked her racing career off strongly when she took out the first two-year-old race of the season in the city when she won the 1050 opening event at Morphettville on Saturday.

Prepared at Strathalbyn by Will Clarken and guided to victory by Todd Pannell Out Of Aflica  jumped well and settled third before dashing to the lead in the straight.

Promin=sing Victorian apprentice Alana Kelly brought up the first leg of a double when Speed Lover took out the 1100 metre second race.

Coming out of the Angaston stable of Tony and Calvin McEvoy Speed Lover  was well placed in breaking her maiden status.

The birthday boy apprentice Gary Lo brought up a win when Lady Dunmore took out the 1200 metre third race.

Being under the care of Phillip Stokes Lady Dunmore led all the way.

Jockey Jason Holder added another winner to his tally when Smokin' Val took out the 1100 metre fourth race.

Bringing up her second win from fourteen starts the Jon O'Connor prepared Smokin' Val came from a midfield position and thundered home along the rails to score a last stride win.

Alana Kelly brought up her second winner for the day when she rode Hypercane to a win in the 1600 metre fifth race.

Giving co-trainers Richard and Chantelle Jolly a win Hypercane  led all the way.

Wertheimer made it two wins in succession when he took out the 2500 metre sixth race.

Giving jockey Jessica Eaton a win the Michael Hickmott prepared Wertheimer  came from a better than midfield position to win.

Apprentice Will Price had a triumphant return to his home town when he rode Swiss Hero to a win in the 1800 metre seventh race.

Trained at Ballarat by Archie alexander Swiss Hero was in a forward position through out.

Outlaws Revenge returned to the winner's list when he took out the listed City of Marion Stakes which was run over 1200 metres.

Trained by Ryan Balfour and having the services of Dom Tourneur Outlaws Revenge came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages with Balfour saying he is looking forward to better things in the autumn for the gelding.

A last stride win by Lope De Wolf saw Barend Vorster keep up his good strike rate for co-trainers Wayne Francis and Glen Kent in the final event of 1050 metres.
