Just the sole meeting in Singapore last weekend, with the Mark Walker trained Sacred Rebel a stand-out performance on Friday night.
Only a recent addition to the Walker stable, Sacred Rebel has clearly appreciated getting back onto the polytrack, notching up back to back wins in the eighth event.
Although ridden back from the wide draw two back, Benny Woodworth elected to press forward this time, settling outside the lead.
Travelling well into the straight, Sacred Rebel took over inside the 300m, before surging away to score by 2.8L.
His closing splits matched what appeared to the eye, recording the fastest last 200m (11.64) of the meeting.
The form also ties in well through third placegetter Jomo and he appears a very promising type for the Walker stable.
Formerly trained by Chris Waller, Sacred Rebel actually began his career in New Zealand and had won two of his 10 starts before making his way to Singapore.
A handy second placegetter behind Wolf Warrior in his Singapore debut, Sacred Rebel went on to struggle on the turf track, before winning his next two starts.
Arriving in Singapore rated 93 by Timeform, his latest performance saw him return a Timeform rating of 87, very encouraging signs for his new stable.
Tested up to the mile in Australia, he can continue to improve when tried over further and happy to forgive his poor performance on the turf track three back.
He clearly didn't have any issues on the turf when racing in Australia and happy to just put a line through that performance.
A figure of 87 is a decent platform moving forward, with the 4YO series an expected target for the son of Sepoy.
He will have to continue that upward spiral to be competitive in the suggest better races, but he is clearly trending the right way.
Much like his stablemate Sacred Croix, he possesses good upside and creates plenty of interest moving forward.
One of his biggest assets is that he is adaptable, given we've seen him able to win after being ridden both forward or back.
The Walker stable is humming and he is certainly one for your blackbook.
