Morphettville Parks Races Review - 7th March 2020

Not having ridden at Morphettville for just on twelve months apprentice Dylan Caboche returned to Adelaide in triumph.

He rode the Paul Rocke two year old gelding State of Class to an all-the-way win in the opening race of 1000 metres on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

The Peter Blanch trained Puissance Dusoleil made it two wins from five race day outings when she took out the 1550 metre second race.

Having the services of Paul Gatt Puissance Dusoleil came from last with a well timed run late in the event.

Apprentice Jerry Chau continued his great run of success when he rode the Ryan Balfour prepared Lostarc to an all-the-way win in the 2400 metre third event.

Continuing the good run this week of Tony and Calvin McEvoy and having the services apprentice Lachlan Neindorf Shrouded in Mist came from the rear of the field to win in a tight photo finish.

Jason Holder continued his good strike rate when he rode Sheza Little Posh to victory in the 1300 metre fifth race.

Being under the care of Group 1 winning mentor Gordon Richards, Sheza Little Posh was always in contention.

After doing most of his recent racing in Port Lincoln Tintagel Rocker brought his good form to Morphettville when he gave apprentice Jerry Chau his second winner for the day in the 1000 metre sixth race.

Prepared by Oakbank based trainer John Dunn Tintagel Rocker charged late to win.

Apprentice Lachlan Neindorf rode his second winner for the day when Lord Varys took out the 1000 metre seventh race.

Prepared by Gary Searle at Gawler Lord Varys was well placed in bringing up his second win from fifteen starts.

The Norwegian born Anna Jordsjo brought up her second win for the week when she rode Cotillion to a win in the 1300 metre eighth race.

Being under the care of Murray Bridge based trainer Michael Hickmott Cotillion came from a better than midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Japanese apprentice Akihito Tomita brought up his first city winner when he rode Happy Street to a win in the 1550 metre final event.

Coming out of the Caulfield stable of Ciaron Maher and David Eustace Happy Street came from a rearward position with a strong run late in the event.
