Morphettville Parks Races Review on 17th July 2021

Resuming from a spell and coming out of the Mick Price and Michael Kent Junior stable at Warrnambool, Lombardo took out the 1000 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morphettville on Saturday.

Guided to victory by Kayla Crowther,Lombardo , although tiring nearing the post, had enough in hand to win after being well placed throughout the event.

Todd Pannell pegged one back on Jessica Eaton when he rode Dominus to a win in the 1550 metre second race.

Coming out of the Pakenham stable of Phillip Stokes and racing in Adelaide for the first time Dominus  came from a midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

The Bob Richards trained Star Hills  regained some of his old form when he took out the third race which was run over 1000 metres.

Guided to victory by Jason Holder, Star Hills settled well before going on to win.

Clap brought up his second win in succession when he took out the 1250 metre fourth race.

Coming out of the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable and having the services of Jake Toeroek, Clap led all the way.

The Tony and Calvin McEvoy stable continued it's good run of late when Mac 'N' Cheese took out the listed Oaklands Plate of 1400 metres.

Having the services of Barend Vorster, Mac 'N' Cheese was one of the last to begin but swept around the turn and got to the lead not very far from the winning post.

Hilumiere  made it two wins in succession when she took out the 1400 metre sixth race.

Presenting Claudia Lions with her thirty–seventh win for the season the Greg Lesnikowski prepared Hilumiere came from last to power home late in the event.

Todd Pannell landed his second winner for the day when Nudge Bar took out the 1950 metre seventh race.

Being under the care of Moe based trainer Peter Gelagotis, Nudge Bar raced in a forward position throughout the event.

Kayla Crowther brought up her second win for the day when Going Ga Ga took out the 1400 metre eighth race.

Prepared at Murray Bridge by Mick Kluske Going Ga Ga came from last with a withering run over the concluding stages to bring up win number nine from forty-eight starts.

Todd Pannell drew equal with Jessica Eaton in the jockey's premiership when he guided Great diviner to a win in the 1300 metre final event.

Being under the care of Will Clarken, Great Diviner was well placed throughout the event and brought up successive wins.
