AFL grand final training details confirmed

3 minute read

Up to 25,000 fans can watch Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs train at Optus Stadium on grand final eve.

AFL fans are expected to snap up free tickets to Friday's pre-grand final training for Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs.

Up to 25,000 fans will attend the Friday captain's runs at Optus Stadium.

The session is a consolation for fans after the traditional grand final parade was ruled out because of COVID-19 risks and logistics issues.

Given the high demand for grand final entry, the free training access is expected to be exhausted quickly when tickets are made available at noon Perth time on Tuesday.

Melbourne will train at 10.30 on Friday morning and the Bulldogs will have their 45-minute run from noon.

Each ticket will include free public transport.
