Collingwood legend Gavin Brown has left a lasting impression at the club, with three of his kids now playing for the Magpies.
There'll be a big dose of football royalty in the AFLW next season after North Melbourne, St Kilda, and Collingwood cashed in on their past stars.
The Magpies used their first father-daughter pick on Tuesday when they recruited Tarni Brown.
The 18-year-old is the daughter of Collingwood great Gavin Brown, and brother to current Magpies Callum and Tyler.
Known for her skill on the basketball court, Brown only picked up a Sherrin for the first time three years ago.
"It's a great honour to start my AFLW career at Collingwood," Brown said.
"I hope to one day establish a name for myself at the club but for now to contribute to the Brown family legacy is a privilege."
St Kilda signed Alice Burke - the daughter of Nathan Burke - under the father-daughter rule.
Burke arrives at the club on the back of consecutive best-and-fairests for Sandringham Dragons.
She made the switch from soccer just three years ago after a glittering junior career which included state, representative and national honours.
Nathan Burke was recently inducted as the ninth Legend of St Kilda after a career that spanned 323 games and netted him three Trevor Barker awards and four All-Australian berths.
"It is great that the Burke name, which is held in such esteem at St Kilda, will return for a second generation," St Kilda's head of football Jamie Cox said.
"I'm sure for Saints fans seeing a Burke run around in No.3 at RSEA Park in Moorabbin will be very special.
"But what is most important is that Alice is a quality young player in her own right, who we think can grow into a champion at the Saints and forge her own path."
North Melbourne secured Amy Smith under the father-daughter rule.
The 21-year-old former basketballer is the daughter of Shaun Smith, who played 47 games for North Melbourne and another 67 for Melbourne.
She is the sister of Melbourne's Joel Smith.
The 2020 AFLW draft will be held on October 6.
