Brisbane Winter Carnival plans for a number of Victorian horses have been thrown into disarray with a decision by Queensland Health ordering a 14-day quarantine stay for horse handlers aboard a Cathay Pacific cargo flight.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace stable will have Explosive Jack and Let’s Karaka Deel running for them in the Group 1 South Australian Derby at Morphettville.
