Locally trained Eastender created some history by winning the Hobart Cup as part of a triumph in the big three Tasmanian Cups – the Devonport Cup, Hobart Cup and Launceston Cup.

Military Mission won the Newcastle Cup and the Herbert Power in the Spring after taking the 2023 Hobart Cup.

In winning the 2024 Hobart Cup, Aurora's Symphony added it to his two Launceston Cups.
