For much of his foundational time in racing, Scone's Peter Snowden worked with the best around.
His time with John Hawkes saw him spend time with so many topliners.
After then being appointed the Ingham's, then Darley's number one man, he would continue developing good horses – many would go on to be influential stallions.
Peter would ultimately link with son Paul in their own venture. Golden Slippers and Blue Diamonds were still a reward.
However they will always be known as the trainers of Redzel – winner of the first two renewals of The Everest. The gallant sprinter gave his all for them and they knew him inside and out.
