GROUPIES - Spring 2019 round 9 -  Manikato Stakes / Cox Plate

In the past four years it has been easy to tip the winner of the Cox Plate with the incomparable Winx dominating the race over that period.

It's quite like old times this year, where the winner is not totally obvious, though of course there are several live chances in what looks an evenly matched field.

The Manikato Stakes on Friday night appears diluted compared to The Everest last week with the three year old Bivouac being the most fancied runner.
