Despite dipping badly as the gates opened, Delicacy justified her hot favouritism with a game win. She eased off her midfield rails position at the 1000m, received a nice run through into third coming to the home bend and after quickening to lead at the 200m she lifted over the final stages to hold a late challenge. From back on the rail, Keysbrook tracked the winner into the straight and although without the acceleration to go with her initially she knuckled down to be closing the margin at the line. Boom Time was handily placed before improving to second at the 1200m and he fought well for third after leading into the straight. The first three were comfortably clear of their rivals.
