He was eased to race in fifth place, one off the rails, behind a steady tempo (first 800m 48.75) before moving up well (wide) at the home turn and finished too well to score with something in hand, despite the sprint home conditions of the race, in a smart effort. Humanity went to the front, steadied the early pace, got a break at the 200m and fought back well for second while Lusaha raced outside the leader and kept battling on gamely in the straight for a close-up third. Get Over It, a winner of two of his three prior starts, raced sixth place on the rails, got along the inner in restricted room at the 200m and fought on well for fourth, beaten less than a length at his second run this preparation.
