A comfortable winner on debut of the WA Magic Millions Classic (RL,1200m) at Pinjarra in February, Valour Road, now two for two, was too strong again here, winning with something in hand. He was not first away but within the first 200m took up the running. Under Aaron Mitchell they eased clear by a length and a half at the 600m. Mitchell added some pressure turning in and they cruised ahead by two at the 300m, by three at the 200m and still by three at the 100m. The break was too much for the chasers, flattering them by a half length at the line. Lady Cosmology was third, three wide, into the straight and kept up a solid run but was never going to catch the winner. Lordhelpmerun came out of the pack with a good run to finish third from Bam's On Fire who flashed into a distant fourth when it was all over.
