The favourite Celebrity Miss was quickly away from her good barrier (2) and then enjoyed a perfect trip racing in third place on the rails, ollowing a moderate pace (first 600m 36.95). She got a split shortly after turning for home, dashed to the lead on passing the 200m and then fought back to win well by a length. Dominating raced between runners in fourth place, got into the clear at the 300m but he took a while to wind-up in the sprint home and made ground late for a sound second, beaten one length.
