Festivity has now won both starts this preparation since her debut 11th in the Gimcrack Stakes (Listed, 1000m) at Randwick last October. She again showed pace before crossing to race in second place. She challenged strongly approaching the home turn, took the lead shortly after straightening and proved too strong to win by three quarters of a length. It was a smart effort.
