Burning Passion followed promising placings at his first two starts to win easily here. He was smartly away, raced outside the leader at a good tempo in the early stages before easing to third at the 700m point. He moved up (three deep) at the turn, took the lead at the 200m and then drew away to score easily by three lengths. It was a good win and he should also appreciate further. Tarismo raced back in fourth place, went to third at the 200m and battled on fairly well for second with threatening the winner while Attainment ran on from second last in the seven-horse field to finish third. *ANZ
