Two-year-old filly Yulong Xingsheng impressed in winning here on debut. She was a little slow to move but improved along the inner from her inside barrier (1) to settle in third place on the rails. She got a split at the 200m, challenged at the 100m and finished too well to score nicely. The Gary Portelli-trained filly Lipizzan went to the front, got a break at the 200m and then held on well for a good second, also going well on debut.
