The Gerald Ryan-trained colt Harper’s Choice has not missed a place in four runs this preparation and maintained his good form with an easy win here. He began well and soon went to the front, settling nicely at a reasonable tempo before lifting the pace approaching the home turn. He was well clear at the 200m and then went on to score easily, running the 1900m out well.
