The Peter Chapple-Hyam-trained British-bred Caravan Rolls On proved the superior stayer with an impressive win. He settled nicely in fifth place on the rails and remained in that spot until making a quick move passing the 700m point. He then cruised up rounding the home turn, took the lead at the 200m and went away for a comfortable win, scoring by almost two lengths. Like A Carousel enjoyed a good trip in third place on the rails most of the way to the home turn. He put in a run shortly after straightening and fought on gamely for a good second. Crafty Cruiser raced in sixth spot most of the way to the 400m. He challenged strongly half-way down the straight and then battled on for a sound third. *ANZ
