Miss Promiscuity was an impressive winner. She was quickly away from her outside barrier (12) before easing to settle in third place (three wide without cover). She remained in the centre of the track rounding the home turn, moved up strongly to take the lead at the 200m and the drew clear to score easily. Angel’s Beach travelled well outside the leader (Wild Rain), challenged on turning for home and looked to be going well before being overtaken at the 200m. She then battled back well and dead-heated for second. Wild Rain showed good pace to lead. She then led the field into the straight and fought on well for a dead-heat second. Heart Of A Lion was midfield, between runners, but was under pressure on straightening. He then kept battling on quite soundly to finish (3.1 lengths) fourth. Favourite Lord Of The Sky was disappointing. He was a little slow to move then raced in fifth place (wide, without cover). But he was under riding nearing the home turn and just battled from that point to finish (5.6 lengths) seventh.
