Srikandi was away well from her wide barrier (13) and was used up to lead. She settled well in front stretching the field out over plenty of ground. Boss nursed her in front on straightening and she quickened up impressively to put a few lengths on the field at the 300m and then go on to score a most comfortable victory. A top class filly. Belle De Coeur enjoyed a nice run in the race in sixth position three back one out. She took the home turn four wide and finished on gamely taking ground off the winner who was not fully tested to the line. A game effort. *ANZ
