A 22-week break was no hurdle for Most Important who took his record to ten wins, half of them stakes, with a hardy win here. After jumping with them he sat third at the 1000m, remained handy to near the straight entrance then moved out three wide. From the 300m he challenged hard but took an age to level up and didn't get his nose in front until the last two strides, thrusting his neck out just in time. Victorum was well back (rails) at the 600m, couldn't get out until the 150m then rattled home, flying into second short of the line. I'm A Rippa led at the top of the straight, still led narrowly at the 200m then kept fighting and was only caught in the shadows of the post. Tyzone turned in widest and ran on strongly to nab fourth late.
