Kings Of Leon settled down in fifth position one out one back, pushed out three wide and rushed up to challenge for the lead on turning for home. He responded well to hard riding and lifted late to get up on the line. California Elite was used up to lead at a good pace. He picked up well in the straight but was grabbed late on to just go under.
