After placings at her first two starts, Brad Widdup-trained filly Acqume put up a good effort in breaking through for her first win here. Having her second run this preparation, she was quickly away, settled nicely outside the leader (Stanley Park), got to the front nearing the home turn and then fought back to score, seemingly with something in hand.
