After showing promise with three placings from his first six starts, the Peter and Paul Snowden-trained gelding Invincible Lad staged a nice effort in recording his first win here. He was smartly away and then raced outside the leader (Send From Above), got the better of that runner and took the lead at the 150m and then fought back to win well.
